Find us on Facebook for regular updates

For now, we will be focusing more on our Facebook updates instead of this blog.  We are keeping this open in case we decide to return but for now it seems more people prefer the ease of FB rather than going to individual blogs.  So check us out there --

A special engagement...

I recently did an engagement session that was just a little more special than my other sessions...because it was for my beautiful niece Fern! She and Alex braved the cold freezing cold and wind and once they coaxed me out of the truck, we had a great time! Haha! They will be married sometime in the summer when Alex is finally done with his Army training in Florida.  I am very excited for their wedding...whenever it happens to be! Here are a few of my favorites from the day. My favorite favorite is the silhouette of them in front of the water! Love it!

                                                                    Enjoy!

Senior Fun

I was looking through old photos to find what I haven't blogged about over the past year and came across these that I took of Brandy for her senior session last year.  Looking at them I realized how much I enjoyed these - senior sessions are so much different than other sessions I do, maybe mostly because you are hanging out with a teenager who usually doesn't mind doing silly things and having their picture taken.  I usually focus on weddings/engagements and newborn/maternity but would love to spend some more time with seniors getting some fun, artsy photos. Every time I visit a park I'm always seeing little hidden spots where I'd love to put someone for some awesome images.   Perhaps I'll have to talk some of my girls at church into modeling for me :)
